Terra Botanica joins the Looping Group !
Opened in 2010 and strategically located in the city of the Angers, in the very dynamic “Pays de la Loire” region, Terra Botanica welcomed around 550 thousand visitors last year, entering France Top 10 theme parks in terms of attendance. The park becomes one of Looping’s flagships in France, the Group’s 9th park in France and 20th in Europe.
This acquisition enables Looping to reinforce its implantation in the northwest of France, and to create a strategic platform together with Zoo de la Flèche, Planète Sauvage, Mini Chateau and Aquarium de
Touraine, our complementary regional parks. Looping will provide its unique expertise and experience of theme parks operator to further develop Terra Botanica while preserving its unique positioning around biodiversity, plants and the preservation of our environment. The integration of Terra Botanica in Looping marks a key milestone in the Group’s ESG commitments.
The partnership signed with the city of Angers, with the support of the département de Maine et Loire, includes an ambitious investment plan that will aim at enhancing the attractivity of the park and help the promotion of the region. Such development will be carried out in the respect of Terra Botanica strong DNA, values and local anchorage.
Laurent Bruloy, executive chairman and co-founder of the Looping Group, comments:
“We are very happy at Looping to welcome Terra Botanica in our family of parks.
